Farkhat Sharipov

Farkhat Zhurabayevich Sharipov (Kazakh: Фарха́т Жураба́евич Шари́пов; 4 December 1983; Almaty) is a Kazakh film director, screenwriter and producer. Farhat Sharipov is a graduate of the Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts. According to him, when he entered the university, as a young musician, a member of the rock band "Utopia", he simply made the wrong door and instead of sound engineering applied for directing, from which he was expelled, in 2007 he graduated from the sound engineering department with a red diploma. After graduation, he went to the United States for a special internship at the New York Film Academy, where he took a film-making course, which includes producing, screenwriting, cinematography, and even acting.
