Nicholas Kaiden (born 21 February 1996) is a Dutch film director, producer, screenwriter and editor. His real name is Nick de Vries and he graduated from 2 film schools. He has a great affinity with especially the horror genre, which started when he saw "Ju-on: The Grudge" when he was 8 years old. At this age he also started editing for fun and this interest grew to the passion he has for film in general today. His directing style can often be seen treading into psychological and visual absurd areas.
