"Dirty Little Sins" is a thoughtful heartfelt dramatic piece from director Jett Blakk. It is a rare porn film that can combine religion and sex and both make a point for your brain and pants. This is a spiritual tale, but it's not preachy. Yes, the viewpoint is clear, but it's not hammered into the movie to the point of any annoyance. It's moral tone is softly placed in the middle of a slowly unraveling love story that is touchingly acted by Brad Benton and Jacob Slader. However, what's most interesting is how Blakk works the sex into the story, throwing off all but one sex scene in a fantastically energetic mode and making it a part of the plot, rather than inorganically plopping it down in the midst of the religious aura that might not necessarily work in tandem with it.

Jett Blakk

Jett Blakk (Born in 1960) is an American Award-winning film director of gay pornography. He began his gay porn career as Jett Blakk Katt, but dropped the last name after a year because he though it was too ponderous. Jett arrived in Los Angeles in 1996 and immediately began working for gay porn director Sam Abdul of Forum Studios as a production assistant. Within four months, Jett was directing Abdul's leather line, Leather Entertainment. Jett began to work for other companies, developing his style and soon became best known as a director of "story porn", hardcore X-rated features with complicated plots and acting, an example being 2006's Bonesaw for Adonis Pictures. Jett has been nominated in several categories for his work as a cameraman, editor, writer and director and received the Grabby award for Best Screenplay in 2006 for his film Dirty Little Sins, which was screened in a Gay Lesbian Media Studies seminar at Redlands University in California that same year. Jett was also inducted to the Grabbys Wall of Fame.
