Tim Muñoz has always had a passion for movies. Is particularly drawn to the works of classic filmmakers like Akira Kurosawa, Ingmar Bergman, Federico Fellini and the proponents of the French New Wave. A fan of independent films. These small projects are works of art which reflect the passion of their creators. His love for film has brought him to courses in the New York Film Academy, plus tons of filmmaking books. Has worked as a scriptwriter and director for the biggest television network in the Philippines, ABS-CBN, for around 15 years. Presently residIing and working in Washington, DC. But goes back and forth to the Philippines for his film projects. 'Hombre' was his first full-length feature, although hvaing completed some short films in the past. Being gay, most of his themes are gay in nature (with filmmakers like Marco Berger of Argentina and Julian Hernandez of as his new idols). His scripts are in the Filipino vernacular but subtitles are always provided for me to reach an international audience. He dives into every detail of my production.
