An orphan girl from a wealthy family, lives with her depressed, withdrawn father, and falls in love with Tawfiq, a writer in her father's circle. She trusts him, but he misuses this trust and assaults her, steals her father's money, and runs away. Her father only reports the money that Tawfiq stole, but does not report the assault on his daughter. Her baby is born, and she gives birth to her, but she is surprised that the baby is blind and cannot see. She sends her to a woman she knows to take care of her, and she meets a young man who loves her and asks her to marry him.

Ahmed Diaa Aldin

A film director, born on February 29, 1912. He studied the art of photography at the Leonardo da Vinci Institute, worked as a painter, and turned to cinema in the forties as an assistant director through the Association of Actors and Cinema Supporters. His beginning was with the pioneer of Egyptian cinema, Mohamed Koriem, with whom he worked in all his films. His first film was Without Farewell (1951). He specialized in directing social romantic films. He directed a large number of films that starred Magda during the period from 1954 to 1960, including Our Green Land, Teenagers, and Let Me Live. The post-Magda stage of his career included the films Schoolgirl's Diary, and Without a Date. He passed away on March 23, 1976, after a career full of important films in the history of Egyptian cinema.
