When an unusual handwritten letter arrives at Nelly’s office, she identifies the handwriting as belonging to her childhood friend Dahlia, claiming her boyfriend Blake is being unfaithful. Determined to help, Nelly wants some answers and rushes to Blake’s home only to find his dead body. When Dahlia becomes the prime suspect, the new, handsome Detective in town, Michael Hogan must work with Nelly to prove that her childhood friend is not the killer everyone believes her to be.

Other highlights include the Hallmark Mystery original Nelly Knows Mysteries (2024), the Lifetime Movies original Deadly Wives Club (2024), and All I Need for Christmas (2024), which premieres December 12th on Hallmark. Beyond directing, David has played a pivotal role in the script development of several successful films, including The Picture of Christmas (2021), A Snapshot of Forever (2022), Mistletoe Match (2022), Love’s Secret Ingredient (2023), and Royally Yours, At Christmas (2023). David is an alumnus of the prestigious TIFF Filmmaker Lab, a JETS Talent Lab participant at the 68th Berlinale, and a Telus STORYHIVE Banff Fellowship recipient. His feature film projects have received development support from notable funding bodies like Telefilm Canada and Bell Media’s Harold Greenberg Fund. A graduate of Vancouver Film School with a specialization in Film Production, David also holds a Juris Doctorate from the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia.
