Mirosław Kijowicz was a Polish director, screenwriter, and set designer, renowned for his contributions to animated cinema. He was also a painter and a lecturer at the Łódź Film School and the University of Silesia. Notable films include Cages (1966), The Blue Ball (1969), and The Water Babies (1978).
