Karunanidhi in Manthiri Kumari and with major artists of the time including T. R. Mahalingam, Anjali Devi, Madhuri Devi, S. Balachandar and L. V. Prasad. He worked with Director K. Ramnoth as assistant along with K. S. Sethumathavan.
