High Life also won the Best Film Award at the Calgary International film Festival. Maclean's Magazine raved: Buoyantly entertaining from start to finish, Yates has lifted the material off the stage and turned it into a kinetic visual drama with sparks of druggy delirium. A Canadian answer to the Coen Brothers with a Tarantino kick. Description above from the Wikipedia article Gary Yates (director), licensed under CC-BY-SA, full list of contributors on Wikipedia.
