Guan Liang was originally a retired assassin who had changed to a doctor and lived a simple life. However, Hong Kong mafia leader Jin Biao appreciated Guan Liang's ability to handle affairs and threatened his girlfriend. He was forced to surrender and return to the Jianghu. Sam Ho Shu-Pui is a director and former actor born in Hong Kong. He began working in the industry as an actor in Hong Kong drama series. In 1989, he joined Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) as an assistant director and was promoted to director the next year. In 1992, he directed his first feature film, Lucky Way, under the pseudonym Chai Wong. The next year, he directed his second film Gigolo Club under the pseudonym Ho Lok. He left TVB in 1997 to work on Chinese television drama series.
