Lalo

Lalo Schifrin was born in Buenos Aires in 1932. His birth is musical, since his father and uncles were members of the stable orchestra of the Colón theater. His training is classical and his passion for jazz emerged as a teenager. He traveled to France at the age of 20, after winning a scholarship to study at the National Conservatory. After this training of excellence, he created a monumental work that brought him fame and toured the main stages of the world, both with his music for film and television and with his jazz or classical works. From his home in Beverly Hills we propose to accompany him on this journey of memory and feelings, letting his music be the guide on this path.

The Faces of the Moon is the story of five women from five different countries (Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, USA and Spain), invited to Mexico City to be the jury of the Third Annual Latin American Women's Film Festival. In six vertiginous days these women share their past experiences, their ghosts and, their expectations. The group views and critiques the festival's film entries, and, in the process, the women reveal their personal, political and national histories.

Private Lives

Carmen Uranga is a 42 year-old woman who after 20 years jurisdiction of her native country (Argentina), she returns to solve a family problem related with the inheritance that her sick father wants to leave him. Their return trip results in the unavoidable memories of the torture that that was object during the dictatorship and a dramatic revelation.

Sucesos distantes

One couple (Carlos & Irene) are having troubles, because he suspects that Irene's hiding something about her past in Russia. To make things worst her ex-husband goes to Mexico and tells Carlos that her other ex-husband also is going to claim her as his property.

Cinema de Lágrimas

An aging Brazilian actor teams up with a film student on a trip to Mexico, in order to find out an unknown movie his mother allegedly watched before she committed suicide.
