Bird

In the harsh world of a lonely person, a bird appears outside the window. The window turns out to be a shop window, and the bird - a dream that can be bought. The titular bird symbolizes the dream of freedom of the protagonist, who is a slave of her own material limitations. The film was realized in the cut-out technique, in grayscale, with dominant geometric shapes with acute vertices, in the style of expressionist paintings.

The Toy

A board with moving squares shows a picture of a locomotive in a chaotic manner. It turns out that the squares fit together outside the frame. The animated short film is a praise of unconventional thinking.

The Chance

The man drinks a cup of tea and taps the rhythm with his fingers. The insight into his thoughts shows the image of an airplane pilot who parachutes to tropical islands. He spends his life on fantasizing.

Baggage

A cinematic journey into the past, following the items that the absentee family gathered in an apartment in an old tenement house. Everything had a beginning which was the end of something. Time rolls on like a glass ball and it breaks into pieces.

The Game

A man observes the movement of pawns in a game. Under the board, people work hard at the big mechanism that drives the pawns. The film shows a blind and destructive force that causes and fuels war.

Przygody Kubusia

A boy comes home from school and reluctantly starts doing his homework. Suddenly, a large blot appears on the book's page. Grandpa Bibliophile comes out, orders the book to be cleaned, and shrinks the boy to microscopic size. The boy falls into the abyss and enters the world of letters. He meets Curiosity, who explains to him the meaning of words and their mutual relations. First, he comes to the word "beach," then to the word "winter," and finally to the word "garden." Curiosity promises the boy further extraordinary journeys.
