At first, there are a wrecked father and a daughter who wants to fix him. A cat falls from the 8th floor and becomes paraplegic. A medical experiment gathering 12 paralyzed people in China. A car accident in Italy. And then, La Mécanique des choses gathered everything in a journey, to fix the irreparable.

Naples. A Virgin with bruise on her cheek who performs miracles. Three female characters, each connected to the Virgin in their own way but who never meet. Giusy, a girl in a wheelchair who had no right to a miracle; an atheist, free-spirited, and an anthropologist specializing in the worship of the Virgin Mary. Fabiana, a transsexual at the head of a troupe faithful supporters of the Virgin in a popular district of the city center. And Sue, a Korean pianist in search of a new direction for her life, teaching music to children in difficulty in a city far removed from her original culture. Each with their intimate wounds and each searching for a "miracle".

The Bookseller of Belfast

A bookseller without a bookshop, a rapper covered in scars, a dyslexic punk who loves opera, a singer who loves x-factor, a mattress too big for the bed of yesteryear, yet another bomb threat... The bookseller of Belfast has built his ark on the scaffolding of his little brick house, where hundreds of unsold volumes tell the story of the wreckage of a city. John Clancy seeks a new path through pages yellowed by time and cigarettes consumed without moderation.
