Born in San Francisco, Anna Cohen-Yanay is a screenwriter and director living and working in Paris. A graduate of the University of Paris VIII, their short film Rambam Streety won the Prix Serge Daney in 2018. They co-wrote, among others, Frost by Sharunas Bartas (Directors’ Fortnight 2017) and Swan dans le centre by Iris Chassaigne (Critics’ Week 2022). They collaborated on the screenplay and acted in Que quelque chose vienne by Mathilde Girard, awarded the Georges de Beauregard National Prize at the FID Marseille 2023. Anna is currently co-writing the short films Mystery Ferry with Iris Chassaigne and Wonderwall with Róisín Burns.
