Avital Ash's Fringe debut explores growing up a Hasidic Jew, depression, queer identity, and generational Holocaust trauma, all while being hilarious. The results are an irreverent show where Avital expertly bounces from black humour to jokes so silly you almost miss the gospel in them.

Sad! (A Love Story)

'Sad! A Love Story' is a feature currently being written by Avital Ash. It follows a happy couple whose relationship falls apart when Donald Trump becomes president. The dramedy is as much an exploration of the lingering effects of sexual assault as it is a darkly comedic look at DUT (Dating Under Trump). Avital Ash wrote & directed this short as a chemistry test and to prove to Amir Blumenfeld that he is also a good dramatic actor. Andrew Mueller shot and voices the 'director'.

Two Birds

When two birds fly into her kitchen window, killing themselves, she is prompted outside and then down into the dark cellar. She will find something that will explain why she has been having second thoughts about her lover.

Dark Space

College friends Devin, Jack, Shelly, Kristy, Shaun, and Flower rent a spacecraft to autopilot them to Centauri Five for a holiday break. Impatient over the rental agency restricting the ship’s speed to 10x, Devin and the others convince Shaun to remove the craft’s constrictor device. Doing so damages the computer’s automated systems, as well as the ability to send a distress beacon, causing the six friends to crash land on an uncharted alien planet.
