A funeral car cruises the streets of Medellín, while a young director tells the story of his past in this violent and conservative city. He remembers the pre-production of his first film, a Class-B movie with ghosts. The young queer scene of Medellín is casted for the film, but the main protagonist dies of a heroin overdose at the age of 21, just like many friends of the director. Anhell69 explores the dreams, doubts and fears of an annihilated generation, and the struggle to carry on making cinema.

Omul cu umbra

Gheorghe Blondă is the analog film laboratory technician from the National Film University of Bucharest. Under the pretext of modernizing the university, he is to be replaced and have his life-long career end. With the filming taking place at the same time as the anti-corruption protests in 2017, Romania, the film brings to light the ways in which the university, a public institution, mirrors the autorities that rule the country. Despite the leading board of the university claiming that it's a natural technological transition, Gheorghe's struggle to keep his job becomes a matter of life or death.

The Golden Girl

Andreea Raducan, a successful 32-year-old woman and one of Romania’s greatest gymnasts, sacrificed her childhood to become an Olympic champion. She finally won the all-round Olympic gold medal in Sydney in 2000, but was stripped of it three days later after testing positive for a doping substance contained in a flu tablet her doctor had administered to her minutes before she entered the competition. Fifteen years later, Andreea is fighting the toughest fight against the people who deceived her, as she tries to recover her medal and, along with it, her dignity.
