Christine Weber is an American television documentary executive producer. She has a degree in Biology, and was first sent to the National Geographic offices working as a temps in California. Earlier in her career, Weber traveled the world working on documentaries for various network including National Geographic, NBC, ABC and PBS. She spent a total of thirteen years at National Geographic Television. In 2001, she was hired by British indie producer Tiger Aspect Productions and its wildlife arm Tigress Productions to spearhead their new American venture based in Washington D.C. Starting in 2007, she worked for three years as Senior Vice President of Production for Discovery Studios. In 2010, after acting as interim head of the network, Weber joined Discovery Channel full-time as Vice President of Development and Production for Specials and Events. She was later promoted to Senior Vice President of Global Production Services.
