A debt-ridden father takes advantage of an unforeseen situation to disappear and live off the grid under a false identity. But a chance event occurs and the temptation to want to know his family resurfaces.

Sixteen-year-old Lola is studying for her resits when the possibility of a semester in Germany comes up. Lola wants to go, but her family, bogged down by her elder sister's psychiatric problems, don't want her to make the trip. The lack of stability and exhaustion in the ties with her family prompt Lola to go ahead with her idea and set out to find new experiences that make her see both herself and the circumstances that surround her with different eyes.

Veronica Videla's Passion

Veronica is a transvestite who has two passions: to study psychology at the University and to live peacefully in Mendoza. These ambitions are challenging for her due to the existence of article 80 of the Misconducts Code which prohibits transvestites from circulating freely on the streets. Her life is further complicated when she is not allowed to enroll at university for being a transvestite. Veronica has to solve the dilemma of her complex sexual identity.
