Fantasía

Siblings Amaia and Aitor are about to turn fifty. They have no children. From a very young age they have lived apart from their parents, Kontxi and Iñaki, now retired. One summer they all meet up on the cruise ship 'Fantasía'. On the high seas time seems to have stopped, but beyond the horizon reality continues to forge its way ahead tirelessly.

Red

Entrails, a flock of sheep, one spring. The cooing of doves and songs hummed. Some vultures, bones, flowers and many hands. Hands which feed, milk, stroke, shear, film; hands that kill. Hands which inhabit the doubts and contradictions about using other species.

Inland

Somewhere in inland Spain, a shepherd dreams of visiting Lake Titicaca, a retired musical duo recall their golden age, two young sisters search for Pokémons without any luck and an old man counts the empty houses of the village in order to fall asleep at night. The characters of this cartographic film tell the tale of a rural world whose ancestral culture is vanishing in time. Through a multi-dimensional gaze we move among an emotional landscape that ranges from melancholy to humour. With an observational tone and an almost surreal manner, INLAND proposes a sensorial trip through the empty territory of Spain.

Above 592 Metres

On the slopes of the Navarrese Pyrenees, the construction of the Itoiz dam in the 1990s flooded seven villages and three nature reserves. A strip of bare land, 592 metres above sea level, today marks a dividing line within the landscape of the valley. Below that level, the water; above it, life goes on.
