For Halloween 1992, the BBC decides to broadcast an investigation into the supernatural, hosted by TV chat-show legend Michael Parkinson. This ground-breaking live television experiment does not go as planned, however.

Flashbacks of the journalist's life show us how his relationships with the Emir and a beautiful young woman develop and flourish.

Actress Coral Browne travels to Moscow, and meets a mysterious Englishman. Turns out he's the notorious spy, Guy Burgess. Based on a true story, with Ms. Browne playing herself.
