Pesta

A story about Wendy, Jeffry, and Nia, teenagers in Jakarta, navigating the social circle in the capital city. A number of teenagers meet at the birthday party of Wendy, the daughter of a tycoon. Since the party, Wendy has been close to Jefry, who recently moved to Jakarta from Sukabumi with his sister, Nia. Nia also has a new partner, a young entrepreneur who likes young leaves. Jefry and Nia are not swept away by the association of the capital. The proof is, Jeffry refuses Wendy's invitation to have sex, despite losing the girl. Likewise Nia, he managed to refuse and thwart his new girlfriend's attempt to fuck him.

Doddy, a faithful husband, becomes a suspect. The office secretary, who adores him, suspects him. His wife, Atik, also suspects him because, when working out of town, she sees the behaviour of her male colleagues. Furthermore, Doddy has to work late because he has to accompany the company’s director during a business meeting with a Japanese company. In addition, he has to find a lady escort for his guest, and at one of the dinner parties, he is photographed being very close to Neni, the escort. Atik refuses to accept Doddy’s explanations so he has to find Neni’s pimp to prove his innocence. Instead, the escort agency’s bouncers beat him up. Finally, Atik believes him, especially when she finds that Neni is going to be married to the director.

She wants to give a child as a substitute to her parents. Pance is willing to do it. However, this event leads her parents to find out her real condition. Ria’s grandfather encourages the marriage. Ria faces her death with fortitude. Her son is born safely, while she herself cannot survive.

On the other hand, Ratih has gone through soul searching and becomes a wise woman. This search leads to their meeting in a cramped house in a village area of Jakarta. Ratih has to choose either to return to Hartomo or accept Mulyono who sincerely loves her. With an intelligent reason, Ratih chooses Hartomo.

The Teacher

Topaz is a poor but honest teacher but the price of honesty keeps being bargained. First, Mursalin, the principal, considers that education can be bought. So Topaz is fired because a student’s parent complains about the child’s bad report card and Mursalin wants to have the numbers upgraded.

When another young man attempts to approach Agnes, she makes a fool out of him. Agnes has to deal with the fact that she cannot conquer everything. Wing is unconquerable and her stepmother secretly cares about her very much. This was one of the more insightful teenage films that understood teenage psychology and was also optmistic in a realistic way.

Two high school students, Satria and Rani, have tasted the forbidden fruit of sex.
