After the premiere screening of the already completed documentary “Moscow Strikes Back”, one of the members of the Academy Awards selection committee is trying to persuade his fellow colleagues to establish a new category of Best Documentary in the upcoming Oscars event.

Taxi driver Viktor Toroptsev from a dying city in the Far East decides that a critical moment has come in his life. He launches the Vityok Live Youtube channel in order to become the “main people’s journalist” in the region and rally his fellow countrymen around him. Victor is sure that it is he who must turn his city and all of Russia into Paradise on earth and embarks on the main journey of his life, not yet realizing what chain of events he launched.

Inadequate People 2

Kristina lives with Vitaly in a quiet family life, but her sarcastic world view does not coincide with Vitaly’s ideals. The Watchman

The protagonist Vlad is a man of about forty; he lives and works as watchman in an old sanatorium that is due to be demolished. He obviously needs this work to live the life of a hermit. One night a married couple appears at the sanatorium: Vera and Stas. They are on the run. They are pursued by former friends and business partners of Stas. Vlad decides to help them, because he too is hiding from the past. Each character is threatened with the inevitable payment for wrong choices in the past, but helping each other, they try to expiate these faults.

Be in the Game

The film is about a new generation of Russian football players. For three years, the authors of the picture watched the heroes' paths to big football: hopes and victories, difficult trials and injuries, inevitable disappointments and sacrifices – all for the sake of fulfilling a common dream of "being in the game" at the 2018 World Cup. The heroes of the film are Alexander Golovin, Roman Zobnin, Alexander Selikhov, Magomed Ozdoev, the Miranchuki brothers.

The Last Waltz

This film is about Oleg Karavaichuk, eccentric musical genius and famous St. Petersburg composer, who takes his final stroll through Komarovo, a bay-side summer community just outside St. Petersburg where he spent his whole life and wrote most of his works. His final piece, “The Komarovo Waltz”, unveiled here for the very first time, was written as a tribute to the place. The film is the reclusive composer’s eulogy to the community. It also serves as Karavoichuk’s farewell to audience as well as his last address and reminder of things that are truly important – love for your fellow man and virgin nature.
