At the reception for Klara's new collection of poems, the main character of the evening is eager to celebrate with her friend Simone. But Simone is more reluctant. She doesn't want to get drunk and rejects Klara's initiatives to party like they once did. Longing for the twoness they had in the past, Klara makes a drastic decision. But the night ends with a fateful accident.

After a hard heart operation, 14-year-old Malene is isolated at home, far from her rap group, Hustlers4Lyfe. She decides to join the others for a party with Kasper, but there is a new alpha female in the group, so Malene has to fight to win her place in the sling back. But her attempts to play hard push her further away from what she cares about, so she must muster the courage to stand by her true feelings.
