Kathuru Mithuru

Kathuru Mithuru (Sinhala: කතුරු මිතුරු) is a 2023 Sri Lankan Sinhala comedy film directed by Giriraj Kaushalya and produced by Basuru Siriwardena for Alankulama Films. The film stars Jayalath Manoratne and Mahendra Perera in lead role whereas Rodney Warnakula and Priyantha Seneviratne made supportive roles.

Tsunami

After a catastrophic tsunami in 2004, many lives were changed forever. This movie portrays a heart-warming story of two such families, and the story revolves around a 2-year-old child believed to be washed away by the floods. 10 years later, the Tamil family learns about a 12-year-old Sinhalese girl who can understand Tamil and remembers incidents from her previous life. Soon they recognize the girl by a birthmark on her face. The young girl now has to choose between her biological family and the family she grew up with.

Maya 3D

Malan is a jobless 25 year-old youth who spends his days playing cricket with friends. He suffers from an irrational fear of ghosts and retreats to the safety of his home after sunset. Meanwhile, Liyana Mahaththaya (Lal), clark (Mihira) and Kalu mudalali (Giriraj) proposed an Awurudu Ulela to impress Chief minister Narendrasinghe (Sathischandra).

The Compensation

An elderly man who regrets certain events in his past life displays his struggle to relieve the bottled-up feelings which had disturbed him throughout his life. Opening with the funeral of the elderly Guneris' wife the film follows the revelation of his past which is filled with a number of tragic events including a triple murder he had committed 52 years ago.
