An Urban Allegory

A ballet dancer is late for an audition for a show inspired by Plato's Allegory of the Cave. She arrives with her seven-year-old son, Jay, and begs the director to give her a chance.

Brado

On a ranch surrounded by nature, a man broken by life spends his days taming wild horses, the only creatures he could ever relate to. When he hears that his dad is embarking on yet another dangerous endeavor, his son Tommaso comes back home to try and dissuade him. It is a chance for them to bond again and to face the resentment that has long been keeping them apart. Day by day, father and son will learn to face each other to heal from their pain and walk together on the steep path to forgiveness.

Dry

In Rome it hasn’t rained for three years and the lack of water is overturning rules and habits. Through the city dying of thirst and prohibitions moves a chorus of people, young and old, marginalised and successful, victims and profiteers. Their lives are linked in a single design, while each seeks his or her deliverance.

Magical Nights

Rome, 1990. The night Italy's national football team is eliminated from the World Cup by Argentina on penalty kicks, a well-known film producer is found dead in the Tiber river. The main suspects for the murder are three young aspiring screenwriters, who–promptly taken to the police–start to tell their version of the story.

The Furlough

The story of four inmates during their 48 hours furlough, of their reality and how it has brought them behind bars. The characters are described with realism, with their contradictions, their desperation, the temptation of an escape, but the cornerstone of the movie is the sincerity of the positive feelings of each and everyone of them: the love of a father for his son, the love for a woman, for friends, and most of all the pursuit of a lost (if ever had) personal dignity and pride. Four characters of different ages and extractions, three man and a woman: Luigi, Donato, Rossana and Angelo.

Don't Be Bad

A story set in the 90s and in the outskirts of Rome to Ostia. A world where money, luxury cars, night clubs, cocaine and synthetic drugs are easy to run. A world in which Vittorio and Cesare, in their early twenties, act in search of their success.

Un coccodrillo per amico

Lorenzo and Sandro are friends and partners of Agostino, director of a real estate agency, a great lover of Africa. During a lunch they accidentally meet Giovanni, known in Kenya. The man, having become familiar, proposes a real estate deal in the dark continent. This is a project for the construction in Malindi of a resort with villas and swimming pools, designed for the western market. Lorenzo is disinterested and skeptical, while Sandro is enthusiastic. However, they discover that the place where the complex will be built is a mission that deals with helping children. A Whole Life Ahead
