Gonçalo Contreiras

Gonçalo Contreiras is a Portuguese Editor, Director, Writer and Producer , born on 7th May, 1987 in Portugal. Passionate about Films since he was young. He studied cinema in high school and then he took a degree in cinema by Universidade Lusofona de Humanidades e Tecnologias in Lisbon. He started his career in national television, and then he start working in some production companies as a video editor, he produced his first short film "Metamorfose" in 2009 and since then he participate in many other shorts and projects. He devoted himself to directing, cinematography and editing for the past few years. In the last years he was involved in various projects, he edit a short that receives the second place in Sophia awards , and won the University festival in 2017, he did a web series with 7 episodes that we works in all seven episodes and he edited a TV show about kids, football and lifestyle for a national cable channel from FPF.
