The untold story of one of the oldest music cultures in Europe. The story also sheds light on the dark streak of oppression and denunciation of yoik, contrasting it with the joy, humor and affection about nature, animals and persons expressed through the yoik. This film aims to show how Sámi people found their own musical path.

I Stop Time

Gunilla Bresky’s new film, “I stop time”, is a story from World War II that is unlike anything else. It is based on the Russian war photographer Vladislav Mikosha’s diaries and photographs. He was filming at the front, but he also visited Hollywood during the war and became a star when he showed his pictures from the front. As Mikosha’s Swedish voice in “I stop time” we have Jonas Karlsson. Gunilla Bresky has made several award-winning documentary films about World War II. The most recent, “Night Witches”, is about female Soviet bomber pilots.

In the Mind of a Parrot

A project that would initially be about alternative young people develops into a film about a cocky girl, Elle, who grows up with a mother who has a hard time showing emotions. Elle's upbringing is a struggle for acceptance. To get it both inside and outside the family, she seeks out spectacular expressions, provocative clothes and destructive behaviors.

At the local dance hall celebrated midnight with the national anthem, and the home of Baron Hans pair and Madeleine Ramels manor held traditional speech before the new year.

Saxophone-pimp is a meditation on urban hotel as youth. Here, at the city hotel in the small town, we find the entire gallery of: the young lion dance, the drunk lady and the happy party. New for the evening is Vera, a divorced mother in her prime. Dance band saxophonist follows the awkward attempts at contact between Vera and a drummer, and decides to help her along. He plays the classic "Petite Fleur". Again and again and again .....

The Jönsson Gang Turns Up Again

As always, Sickan has come up with a new plan. This time he wants to rob the IKEA furniture store. During their nightly break-in Sickan discovers that the store is used as a secret smuggling central for sending American computers to the Soviet Union. The computers are picked up by Soviet submarines sneaking into the Swedish archipelago. Naturally, it is their arch enemy Wall-Enberg who is behind all of this.
