What was supposed to be a personal and heart-warming script about his journey from an ultra-orthodox upbringing in Jerusalem to a secular life in Tel Aviv turns into an obsessive manifesto containing thousands of pages and hundreds of hours of voice recordings dealing with Jewish identity, its problems, and possible solutions.

Piaffe

When her sibling Zara suffers a nervous breakdown, the introvert Eva is forced to take on Zara’s job as a Foley artist. She struggles to create sounds for a commercial featuring a horse, and then a horsetail starts growing out of her body. Empowered by her tail, she lures a botanist into an affair, through a game of submission. Piaffe is a visceral journey into control, gender, and artifice.

Roses Gate

A dramatic, neo-realist Moroccan-speaking comedy, centered on the Vaknin family - a Moroccan Jewish family that immigrated to the picturesque town of "Bab El Ward" (an imaginary town symbolizing the whole periphery).

Let It Be Morning

Eva

Yoel and Ewa have been married for a long time. While putting order in their papers, he finds a bank note informing him of a loan on an apartment he owns, which he never knew about. A middle-aged Orthodox Jew, Aaron, living and working in Jerusalem with his wife and children, meets a homeless 19-year-old student. Aaron offers to give Ezri work as his assistant at his family's butcher shop. The two men grow close and their attraction becomes sexual. Aaron must now confront his own sexuality, his feelings for Ezri, and his obligations to his family and faith.
