At the old oil pier in Årstaviken, Larne and his friends live in more or less home-built houseboats. But along the promenade next door critical voices are heard - they want the boats to be removed, they pose a danger. Things are starting to look dark for Larne. Will the boats be seized? Is there anything or anyone that can stop him from becoming homeless? Time is short. A film by Håkan Berthas.

Thin Ice

Dolkar is the only one in her family who has been given a chance to study. She studies at the Secmol School. The director of the boarding school supports the girls wish to play ice hockey. When the next year's tournament is approaching the girls make a new attempt to enter. They have to solve problem by problem: Thin Ice, bad equipment, no coaching. Finally when they find the American coach Deb, they travel over the mountain to the Muslim village Kargil and create a joint team. Side by side the Buddhist and Muslim girls challenge the men in charge.

Big Mike

A film about a Swedish aborigin on a journey in search of his roots. Produced by Nordisk Film och TV in cooperation with SVT, Dokumentär, Håkan Berthas och Hanna Heilborn (Story). Mike was born in Cherbourg, Australia, a former reservation for indigenous australians. Just a couple of days old he’s adopted by a swedish couple living in the country. When the film starts Mike has no family left, he is 21 years old and stays at his best friends home in Northern Sweden, dreaming of becoming a rap-artist. One day he gets a phone call. It’s a woman saying she’s his biological mum in Australia…. From there we follow Mike during three crucial years, on a journey that will change his life forever.

Atom by Atom

Year 2061. Everyone has left Earth. A figure is sent back to Earth to check on the situation. Are they the same elements, do the history chips work? Slowly, something begins to happen, a ritual to evocative rhythmic music. There is a threat... - it comes from within. Gradually, a trance-like state arises, where the figure meets its dark side.
