The Man from Nowhere

In 1960 a secret rocket launch occurred, preceding the first manned flight into space. The spacecraft is damaged before it enters the orbit and crashes in the remote, frozen part of the world. After he comes to his senses, he realizes that it is the year 2023, and he remembers almost nothing about his life before flying into space. His only memory is the image of a girl from the past. He knows her, but she doesn't know him...

Take Your Dead

All means are good in order to earn a new happy life. Sergey is engaged in excavations on the battlefields of the Great Patriotic War in the wilderness near Moscow: He finds the remains of dead German soldiers, and then shakes money out of their relatives. He dreams of finally getting rich, moving from his mother to a separate apartment, or even "going to the Boches." But the war, once started, never ends.

Generation 2000

The program "Generation 2000" was shown during the meeting of the press club of the Cinematography Service on February 21. The film almanacs include ten works by VGIK students, each of which was shot at one of the regional film studios.
