Penny Antics

A virtual remake of Customers Wanted, with Popeye and Bluto running competing penny arcades showing customer Wimpy clips from past shorts, though in this case, rather than each arcade owner showing clips from the same story, they show different stories.

Leprechauns Gold

A song-filled Noveltoon featuring the antics of the Irish Leprechauns during their annual gold-washing ceremony. It depicts the wee people of Ireland who flavor its traditions with laughs and legend.

All's Fair at the Fair

Bluto, the daring hot air balloon rider, catches the eye of Olive at a carnival, much to Popeye's chagrin. Bluto manages to make Popeye look bad several times, eventually winning a ring at the ball toss and taking her up in his balloon. Of course, he tries to get fresh with her, and Popeye comes to the rescue with the help of some fireworks. The hot air balloon gets a bit too hot, putting Olive in even more danger.

A Bout with a Trout

Little Lulu, torn between playing hookey and going fishing, or going to school, chooses to go fishing...where she encounters the Fish from Cartoon Hades.

Popeye and the Pirates

Popeye is taking Olive on a boat ride when she spots a pirate ship. They are soon captured, and Popeye has to rescue Olive from the (initially charming) pirate captain. He tries tricks, like dressing in drag, but until the spinach, no luck. Fortunately, a passing swordfish reading a Popeye comic book recognizes him and feeds him the spinach on the comic cover.

The Wee Men

A yarn about the mythical Leprechauns who reside in Ireland and their crock of gold. The legend says that if anyone succeeds in capturing one of the wee men, the little person must then lead them to where the gold is hidden. Young Patrick, on his 121st birthday---that is correct, his 121st birthday---is permitted to do a good deed, and delivers new shoes to the homes of the poor. But, alas, the town miser spots him and succeeds in capturing him. Patrick leads the miser to the spot of the gold, a tree stump, and promises, as the legend says, not to remove it while the old miser rushes home for a shovel. But, when he returns he now finds hundreds of tree stumps, and is foiled. Young Patrick is welcomed back home with a birthday cake...with 121 candles.

The Stupidstitious Cat

Buzzy the Crow is under attack from a cat. But when he finds out that the cat is very superstitious, he uses that against him in all sorts of clever ways.

The Fistic Mystic

Popeye and Olive enter the city of Badgag and spot Bluto doing magic tricks. He hypnotizes Olive like a snake charmer. Bluto introduces himself as the Great Bourgeois and gives Olive a fancy dress, turns Popeye into a donkey, and sits on a bed of nails. Popeye pounces on the bed and turns it into springs. The boys next compete in snake charming; Popeye blows a hornpipe on his pipe. Bluto next turns Popeye into a parrot. Bluto then locks Olive in a basket and does the sword trick; Olive escapes and gives parrot Popeye his spinach, which revives him. Bluto escapes with the rope trick and a flying carpet, but Popeye uses his pipe like a rocket to get aloft. Another battle, with Popeye using Bluto's own magic to turn Bluto into a canary. Popeye and Olive fly the carpet home, past the Statue of Liberty.

Sudden Fried Chicken

"Sudden Fried Chicken" stars Herman (a mouse) and Henry (a rooster). Herman notices a poster that will award $1,000 to anyone who will stay in the ring for one round against a champion boxing rooster. He goes to Henry, who is feeling really low about himself, as he is getting bossed and pushed around by his wife. One thing leads to another, and the scrawny Henry is going up against the Champ!

The Goal Rush

The story of dogs and cats playing each other at football. Includes sing-a-longs of various college fight songs.

Chick and Double Chick

Little Lulu and her dog are charged with protecting the baby chicks from a sly and hungry cat. The cat attempts to steal Little Lulu's chicks but is foiled by Lulu and her dog after many attempts.

Service with a Guile

Olive runs a service station. The admiral pulls in and asks Olive to put some air in his tire, as he heads off to a cigar store. Meanwhile, the boys stop by on a 24-hour leave, and start to be "helpful" - which of course means that the tire, then the entire car, are in serious trouble. Not that Popeye doesn't do some amazing things to save the car; he carries it, atop a hoist, to the top of a very tall building under construction, then outruns it as it falls, and catches it, unscathed; the car is demolished, however, when Bluto snatches the hoist away and lets the car fall the remaining couple of meters onto Popeye. Spinach time: He manages to rebuild the car, apparently good as new, in the time it takes the admiral to walk back from the cigar store, so Bluto shoves him away to take credit. But the car falls to pieces when it's started, and the admiral puts Bluto on rust-scraping duty as Popeye and Olive float by in a rowboat.

House Tricks?

Olive is building a house when the boys happen by. They show off a bit to convince her to let them build her house for her. She decides to split the job in half by splitting the blueprints in half and having each build one side of the house. Of course, "cooperation" isn't in their vocabulary. Bluto does an extremely sloppy job on his half, and also takes every opportunity to either sabotage Popeye or trick him into doing more work. Meanwhile, Popeye's making enough of his own mistakes, many of which seem to involve wedging Olive into small bent pipes. Eventually, Popeye has his spinach and finishes the house, but the house collapses as they are celebrating with a kiss.

Shape Ahoy

Bluto and Popeye are vacationing on a men's only island, when Olive happens by on a shipwreck raft. They both pretend to ignore her, but woo her behind each other's back.

Scrappily Married

Henry is terribly henpecked by his wife until he makes friends with Herman Mouse. Turns out his wife is terrified of mice, until she dresses up in a cat costume!

Magica-Lulu

Lulu goes to see the magic show with the magician's act.Lulu wants to be part of the magic show but she finds trouble. Watch for the gag when Lulu is mistaken as a rabbit in the magician's hat.

When G.I. Johnny Comes Home

A cartoon short following various soldiers and sailors as they come home from World War II. Includes a sing-a-long of "When Johnny Come Marching Home Again."

Yankee Doodle Donkey

A donkey tries to enlist in the WAGS, a group of Army dogs. However, after a series of tests, he is deemed unfit for service. Later, he proves useful during a flea attack.

I'm Just Curious

For misbehaving, Little Lulu gets a spanking from Daddy with the book "Art of Self Defense" in her pants. In the shower, after being sent to her room, Lulu starts to sing "I'm Just Curious." Later Lulu sneaks out and goes after a chicken hawk who, thinking that he's a stork, tries to get Lulu's chickens from her family's henhouse.

Pitchin' Woo at the Zoo

Popeye takes Olive to the zoo, where she's spotted by zookeeper Bluto, who tries various stunts to impress her and/or get rid of Popeye.

The Anvil Chorus Girl

Popeye and Bluto pass by Olive's blacksmith shop and are smitten. Olive needs help, and of course both of the boys offer, and demonstrate their prowess at blacksmithing.

W'ere on our way to Rio

Actually, Popeye and Bluto are already there. They visit a nightclub, where the featured singer/dancer is, of course, Olive Oyl.

The Henpecked Rooster

Herman tries to get fed but has to watch out for two crazy roosters.

Eggs Don't Bounce

Lulu fears getting into trouble after accidentally breaking the eggs she was told to get on her way home.

Her Honor, the Mare

Popeye's nephews happen by just as the glue factory is rejecting a sorry looking horse and decide to take it home. They want to treat it as a house pet, despite the obvious problems; Popeye says no. They try to hide it, including painting a Hitler face on its rear and calling it a painter, but keep making mistakes like feeding it horseradish (great reaction shots). Finally, they hide the horse in the closet; Popeye comes out and says that they'll have to keep it now. We see why when she's sitting at the table with her four new foals.

Cartoons Ain't Human

Popeye sits down to make a cartoon. He shows the results to Olive and his nephews: it's a damsel-in-distress scenario, starring him and Olive, with live music and sound effects by Popeye.

Ration Fer the Duration

Popeye's planting a victory garden while his nephews are collecting worms for fishing. He berates them for wasting time, and tells them the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, which inspires them to plant beans. Popeye falls asleep, and dreams up a giant beanstalk. His nephews talk him into climbing to the top. Inside the giant's castle, Popee hides in the cuckoo clock and spots the giant hoarding sugar instead of gold; his hen lays tires, and his storehouses are full of other goods that were rationed in World War II. Popeye tries to walk out with a stack of tires, but the giant stops him, ultimately swatting him with a fly swatter and making him into a sandwich; the giant sprinkles Popeye with pepper, delaying the inevitable spinach briefly. Popeye defeats the giant, and gets him to sneeze all his tires into a carpet.

Me Musical Nephews

Popeye's nephews have been practicing their music and are getting good, but it's bedtime. After Popeye puts them to bed, they discover that many of the things in their bedroom can also be used to make music. And they are also blessed with an uncanny ability to appear to sleep every time Popeye comes to check on them.

Alona on the Sarong Seas

Popeye and Bluto are on leave in the South Seas when Princess Alona (Olive) comes surfing by in her Sarong, a bird perched on her knee. The boys are smitten, and chase after her. The bird warns our boys that any harm to the princess will result in death from the local volcano.

Baby Wants a Bottleship

Olive is going shopping and drops Swee'pea off for Popeye to watch. Popeye carves a sailboat for him, but the tyke spots Popeye's battleship, and the puny toy boat will no longer do. He climbs aboard, and there's the expected mayhem. Notable sequences include a stint on the ship's cannon's control board, with Popeye caught on the barrel, then in the gears; also, at the end, Swee'Pea hitches a ride atop a torpedo just as Olive is returning and Popeye's out cold.

Olive Oyl and Water Don't Mix

Popeye and Bluto agree that women are too much trouble, so they agree to swear off them, which lasts about five seconds, until Olive comes on board ship for a tour. The boys vie for her attention.

Fire Cheese

Gabby makes good on his pledge to 'be helpful' by assisting the local fire department while they put out a fire. When the chief incapacitates himself by getting Gabby's hat stuck over his head, Gabby takes charge with with disastrous consequences.

Doing Impossikible Stunts

Mystery Pictures is looking for a stunt man. Swee'pea tags along with Popeye, but he sends the tot home. Popeye shows clips of his stunts to the director, who is impressed; when he goes to put on the last reel, Swee'pea, who snuck back in, hands him Lost and Foundry (1937), which features Swee'pea saving the day. The director signs Swee'pea.

I Wanna Be a Life Guard

Popeye applies for a lifeguard job when he sees Olive in the pool, but Bluto also wants the job (and Olive). The manager, Wimpy, asks them to demonstrate their skills in a contest. Popeye does well, until Bluto demonstrates lifesaving and first aid on him.
