In 1961, the young writer Onat Kutlar goes to Paris to study philosophy. After discovering his passion for cinema at the Cinémathèque Française he decides to found a Cinematheque in Istanbul to bring the world of art cinema to Turkey. Although the Turkish Sinematek came to a tragic end in 1980, it quickly established an intellectual film culture that continues to influence Turkey today.

Can witnesses a murder in a small town. The police don't allow him to leave after his testimony. On the other hand, a quarantine is declared due to rabid dogs. The whole town turns into purgatory with no exit is almost at the edge of insanity.

Kemal is a guard at an empty villa belonging to a dark businessman outside the city. One night, he finds a book called IDEA, left by someone whose face he cannot see, on the bus he occasionally goes to the city. After, Kemal’s life begins to turn to hell in a way that he could never understand.
