Pampered Darlings

14 year old Orsi Szentesi gets into art school. Her white-collar parents rarely see her. Orsi and her ten year old brother visit a wealthy countryside family during the summer break. She uses her art to keep a distance from everyone else, painting landscapes even as she's falling in love for the first time.

Stratagem

The story played by civilian players is laid in a Transdanubian village, where on the initiative of the municipality doctor the local inhabitants wish to build a social welfare home as volunteers, with the support of the local co-operative and the state farm. Having first consented to the plan, the leadership of the county starts opposing the project because of the plan to build a social welfare home called the City of the Happy Aged to be established by the county. Both parties take the field for their ideas and the battle starts.

Flirt: Hipnózis

The director of the film subjected herself to hypnosis with the assistance of a famous Hungarian doctor. The event was recorded by a fixed camera, placed earlier by the director. (BBS Catalog 1961-91)

Changes That Have Been

Following Antal Végh's sociography the members of amateur film studio Cinema 64 recorded a 90 min 8mm film in the village of Penészlek in 1968. During a return to the village eight years later they have the chance to compare the changes from past to present in the lives of the local residents.

Self-Fashion Show

According to Peter Brook, all that is needed for an act of theatre to be engaged is for a man to walk across an empty space whilst someone else is watching him. Thus, an empty space becomes a bare stage. However, this raises countless questions about the relationship between reality, everyday presence and role-playing, something experimental filmmakers coming from the 1970s world of theatre dealt with in detail.
