Influence

"Influence" is a story about the key events of the Wielkopolska Uprising - a dramatic arrival of Ignacy Jan Paderewski in Poznań, and the people who prepared the uprising, fought in it and won. "Influence" uses the characteristics of action and thriller movies. Refers to the cinema era - German expressionism, and the atmosphere of the era - the pervasive sense of the end of old world and the birth of the new one, fear of change and at the same time striving for it.

Ambition

A young apprentice (Aisling Franciosi) struggles to master nanotechnology on an alien world and prove herself to her enigmatic master (Aidan Gillen). Will her herculean goals remain tantalizingly out of reach, or will she fulfill them and in the process, change life as we know it? Tomek Bagiński’s short film Ambition is a collaborative project between the European Space Agency and Platige Image highlighting Rosetta, ESA’s real mission to rendezvous with, escort and land on a comet.

Fallen Art

Fallen Art presents the story of General A, a self-proclaimed artist. His art, however, consists of a deranged method of stop motion photography, where the individual frames of the movie are created by photographs made by Dr. Johann Friedrich, depicting the bodies of dead soldiers, pushed down by Sergeant Al from a giant springboard onto a slab of concrete.

The Cathedral

The Cathedral (Polish: Katedra) is a 2002 short animated science fiction movie by Tomasz Bagiński, based on a short story by Jacek Dukaj, winner of the Janusz A. Zajdel Award in 2000. The film was nominated in 2002 for the Academy Award for Animated Short Film for the 75th Academy Awards.
