Panther

Panther is a semi-historic film about the origins of The Black Panther Party for Self-Defense. The movie spans about 3 years (1966-68) of the Black Panther's history in Oakland. Panther also uses historical footage (B/W) to emphasize some points.

In this controversial guttural comedy, the first from writer/director Christopher Michael, his shocking character "Jerome Jackson" makes his debut as a mortuary attendant caught in a diabolical bacteriological espionage plot that threatens to destroy America. Using his special ghetto-jive powers, Jerome uncovers the scheme while helping himself to the luscious offerings of the widow of one of his "customers" - an evil, rich bastard that has been replaced by one of the agents as part of the bacteriological war. Can the shuffling Jerome keep his hands off horny white women long enough to save his country? Probably not, but you'll laugh at this fool's attempts to balance animalistic sex and patriotism! The Tenth Man

George Winter, a self-made businessman and MP, lets nothing get in the way of his climb to the top. Certain in his belief in the corruptible and foolish nature of others, whenever Winter meets a competitor who can't be bought, he destroys the man through methods both legal and underhanded. Then, he meets his 'tenth man': a victim who refuses to be silenced by threat or bribery, with the power to bring Winter's house of cards crashing down around him.
