José de la Maza is a Chilean director born in 1996. He studied both Film and Aesthetics at the Catholic University of Chile. In 2021 he premiered his first short film Dear Silvia, which was awarded in FIDOCS. At the moment, he is developing documentary and narrative films that reflect about Chile's historical memory.
