The Vietnamese Nghi has a bad feeling as she sees the foreign Chinese groom for the first time on the day of her daughter’s wedding. Nghi and Phuong decided that the 17 years old should get married to relieve the family of their debts. ROOMMATE tells the story of Phan – a lonesome banker who goes to a strange hotel with the search for special companionship on Christmas eve, but a small mistake leads him to an even more special encounter with another man – Lam – a mysterious dancer with Origami talent. As the journey goes on, Phan explores many mysteries about this dancer, about the hotel and about himself.
