The Fountain for Suzanne

The second full-length film of director Dusan Rapos. It was based on Eleonora Gasparova's novel of the same title. The director tells a story about the life and troubles of young people living in the city. The teenagers have to face real life, make their first major decisions, and learn that romance sometimes brings disappointment. The original Slovak music composed for the film by Vaso Patejdl contributed greatly to the film's atmosphere. It helped to make The Fountain for Suzanne a legendary picture of Slovak cinematography at the time.

Salt & Gold

A fairy-tale about the power of love. The old king Pravoslav feels it is time to entrust the rule over his kingdom to one of his three daughters - the one that loves him the most. The youngest, Maruška, fails her father's expectations about proving how deep her love him is. He misunderstands her and she is made to leave the castle. She faces many dangers on the way to her loved one, the Salt Prince.

Small Yozko, who lives with his mother, dreams of a real father, whose ideal is embodied in a tractor motorcyclist on Formula nickname. However, his mother perceives cheerful cool formula, finding it, like many villagers, frivolous. Friendship Formula fills the boy his father's absence, and Yozko increasingly tied to his friend. Suddenly received a telegram from the actual Yozko father, his mother will have to take a difficult decision, but life itself makes adjustments ...
