Emilio is a dull guy with a dull life. He only enjoys doing monologues as an amateur comedian on the stage of the same place where he started some time ago. But, at 40 years old, his dream of making it as a comedian has not come true. Unlike Carla, who is a famous comedian with her own TV show. One night, Emilio paints Carla some mustaches on one of the posters advertising her show. A few nights later, Carla shows up at the place where Emilio is performing.

Miguel arrives at his grandmother's house to celebrate Christmas with his family, ready to face another night of reproaches. But this year is even worse; they want Miguel to join the family business, sacrificing his own dreams. Will Miguel be able to stand his ground, or will he end up succumbing to his family's wishes?
