January 1939, Spanish Civil War. Jaume and Miquel, two republican soldiers on their way to exile in France, are intercepted by nationals guarding the border. When Jaume is wounded, the escape plans get complicated.

Amanda (49) lives alone and is comfortable in her routine; working at the tobacco shop and going to flamenco classes with her friend Maribel (37). Her only son Pol (24), taking advantage of the fact that he has a casting for a film in Barcelona, returns home by surprise for a couple of days. This reunion will open up the fears, insecurities and wounds that Amanda thought had been forgotten.

As long as it shines

Carla has to spend the day taking care of her neighbor Aritz. Between games, secrets and lies, little by little they will discover each other. Carla will realize that their lives are not so different and she will see that sometimes young children do things better than adults.
