The warlords overrun the country while the farmers are starving, and forced to become soldiers to keep the wolf from the door. The farmers are recruited in groups of fifteen. In Yaju's village, there are only twelve men, so they press Oto, who looks more like a boy than a girl, to join, disguised as a man.

Kappa Kawatarou

A kappa village is devastated by a large storm during festival preparations. With no fish in the river, the village is weakened. Kawatarou and his girlfriend head the mountains to find anything to bring back.

The Adventures of Tobisuke

Tobisuke, puppeteer in Kyôtô, saves O-fuku's life. Wounded in the head, it can now count to three. O-fuku invited him to meet her mother so she can heals him with a golden fruit. But O-fuku and Tobisuke had to cross the valley of death filled with fantastic creatures, will they survive?
