The Adventure Begins

In a world where we have so much access to all kind of visual media, this documentary explores the rise in Tabletop Role Playing Games, also known as TTRPGs (specifically Dungeons and Dragons otherwise known as ‘DnD’) and why so many people are gravitating towards telling and listening to stories told around the table. This films shows how people from all walks of life including people of different races, genders, and religions are creating worlds and telling their own stories through TTRPGs and why there’s a preference for verbal storytelling over more traditional media such as film and written stories.
