A Trip to Teulada

Assunta is struck down by a sudden illness and is rescued by her neighbor, Fatima. The old woman survives but on awakening she discovers that the illness has brought back her past, scarred by the creation of the largest military proving ground in Europe which caused the end of her small community.

Oro verde

Mario is an unemployed engineer, a victim of the economic crisis. Discouraged by job advertisements that do not reflect his capabilities and demoralized by numerous financial deadlines, he decides to organize the heist of the century. The police has just stored in a military facility the largest quantity of cannabis ever seized in Switzerland, and it will be burned shortly. Mario plans to substitute it with common hay without anybody noticing: if the evidence simply disappears, so does the crime... Searching for trustworthy members of his gang, Mario brings together Ivan, Augusto, Leo, Monica and 'The Professor', each of them more desperate than the other and convinced to have found the 'green gold' that will change their lives.

Blue Sofa

Explores the strange routine of three of the Baczynski siblings: from 5pm to 8pm every day, for over thirty years Dorota, Tadeusz and Mordechaj have sat on a blue velvet sofa to wait for death to arrive. This ritual gives them the illusory belief that nothing fatal will happen to them for the rest of the day. But their other brother Leopold, who has always been excluded from this ritual, spies on them to check when the sofa will become free…

We are in Argentina in 1977, a woman gives birth to twins. With the complicity of the midwife he manages to hide the child, second child. The first, a boy, is taken into custody by the regime's guards. The scene moves to the Milan of today. The young Rosa contacts Javier and tries to convince him that they are twin brothers, separated at birth. Thus, the two begin a journey to rediscover their origins and their past. A bitter reality is ready to overwhelm them ...

Garage Olimpo

Maria is a militant activist in an organisation opposed to the military dictatorship in Argentina. She teaches reading and writing in the shanty towns and lives with her mother in an old and run-down residence. One morning, Maria is carried off, in front of her mother, by a military squad dressed in civilian clothes. The young woman is taken to the Olimpo garage, one of the numerous torture chambers which haunt Buenos Aires to the general indifference of the population. In order to make Maria talk, Tigre, the head of the centre, gives her to one of his best men, Felix.

The Game Bag

In late summer 1991, three Italians reach a hunting reserve in Croatia with a station wagon. They go to deer, but, unaware of what's in store for months, they do not decipher the enigmatic signs that surround them. One of the three is suddendly wounded in the knee by a bullet of unknown provenance, and they end up in a hotel targeted by snipers night and day.

Giulia in ottobre

Giulia has a one-night stand with a stranger to forget a heartbreak. Aimlessly walking through October city streets to let off steam, she meets a woman who came from Turin seeking an explanation from her partner, who doesn't even want to see her. The two join forces and settle accounts with him. Neither of them feels like going home and being alone, so they spend the whole night wandering around Milan.
