In 2015, in Damascus, the Basateen al-Razi district and its orchards were razed to the ground as punishment for the population's uprising against the regime. Having lost everything, two former residents recall their neighborhood.

The film brings to the surface certain conversations related to any revolution: hope, disillusionment, fire, torture and police violence, but above all the importance of collective memory.

The Colloquy of Dogs

Touched by the grace of speech, two dogs philosophize in a hospital car park, at night. Together, they paint a bleak picture of a humanity in the grip of a grand calamity, crumbling on the way our all too human certainties.

Otro sol

Otro Sol is a group of real and invented characters trapped in a film. It is also a purgatory of retired thieves that takes place on the coast of the Atacama Desert. The film is circular and seeks to invent and verify the myth of Alberto Cándia, a Chilean international thief who stole the Cathedral of Cadiz in Andalucia in the late 1980s.

Sleepless Nights

Foster Wallace already proved in one of his books that narrating a tourist cruise can be much less bland than it seems if we apply a sufficient dose of playfulness. Something similar is achieved by Laura Rius and Carlos Solano in this unusual film, a subtle vindication of the pleasure of storytelling, which transcends not only the banality of its setting, but also the premises of a story that is presented as a documentary and then let itself be carried away by much more unpredictable currents.
