As the winter season begins in Creta, an overly touristic Greek island, a family of locals, owners of a small struggling bed & breakfast, get an unexpected visit from a Nordic family of tourists looking for a tour into the piratic past of the area. The relationship between Manos, the Greek father and Tassos, his son, is being tested as they are struggling to meet the increasingly challenging demands of the tourists looking to live the authentic pirate experience.

Panellinion

Panellinion is an out-of-place-and-time chess coffeehouse in the center of Athens; a refuge for people who suffocate in everyday life, who despise and fail to adapt in the conditions of modern life. Giannis, the owner of the traditional coffee-house, hates chess and views chess players as creeps. On the other hand he looks upon the regulars as his children:Scientists, artists, retirees, workers who seek outlet and consolation -or obsession that ruined their lives- in chess, make confessions, recall old stories of legendary eccentric customers with tears in their eyes, roister, drink and sing.

End of August

Summer in a small Greek island. Amelia discovers her mother's illicit affair, refusing to believe what she saw. She will run away from home with Epaminondas, her first love. They will live an adventure, testing themselves and whoever they encounter along their way, ending up at the end of the night as children again in the hands of their parents.

The limits of intrusion in the peaceful lives of local folk on the island of Ikaria are being tested in a group of scientists' quest to find the secret for long and healthy life. Islanders go about in their daily microcosms - in the kitchen, in the garden, in the workplace and in their "hangouts", when researchers invade asking for something rather personal. A clash of energies rises between locals and perplexed scientists that leaves no stone unturned, in the attempt to understand frozen time and intriguing idiosyncrasies. A comedic study in pacing and reframing a world view.
