Dad... Can I Borrow the Car?

A live-action short, using many avant-garde film techniques, that looks at American car culture in the late 1960s. The main section deals with the many trials and obstacles a teenager must face on the path to being able to drive. Surviving the driver's education class is only the first step, as the teenager must then pass his driving test, and then finally get permission to borrow the family car.

Disneyland Showtime

Performers visit Disneyland for the opening of The Haunted Mansion. When Donny Osmond gets lost, everyone goes searching, which gives the opportunity for a tour of the park.

Hang Your Hat on the Wind

A handsome thoroughbred yearling accidentally escapes from a cross-country van in the desert, and is found and loved by a young Mexican boy. He hides the horse from searchers, but eventually mends his ways and tries to return the animal. However, two hoodlums steal the horse. The boy leads a sheriff to the rescue, and receives an apt reward.

My Family Is a Menagerie

A young widow who has a way with animals moves to Northern California and is asked to care for the local strays. A wreck of a circus truck sets a menagerie of circus animals free, and she has to use all her wits to catch them. Only a leopard eludes her, and he is befriended by a local renegade dog. Eventually she is able to trap them and she trains them to be in her animal act.

The Legend of the Boy and the Eagle

Eagles are the channel to the spirit world for a Hopi Indian boy who defies tribal law and frees a sacred, sacrificial eagle. He is banished from his village to the wilderness, but the eagle teaches him hunting skills and cares for him. He eventually returns, only to be bullied and taunted by the other village boys.

An Otter in the Family

The story tells of a young boy who finds an orphaned baby otter and decides to adopt him into the family, but as the otter grows it wreaks all kinds of havoc, including raiding the neighbor's chicken coop.

Then he shows her the haunted mansion that will be built,and miniatures of the Pirates of the Carribean ride that will be built.Next,Tinkerbell uses her "magic" to take viewers to Disneyland for the big 10 year celebration with Mickey and the gang.

Two carefree dogs in Hungary come to the attention of an old fisherman. Later they free a hawk from a cage, and he joins them. They have adventures with a flood, a wild boar, and a cheetah.

A young girl, while skiing in Aspen, Colorado falls victim to an avalanche and her faithful St. Bernard dog assists in the rescue.

Chico, the Misunderstood Coyote

A witness to his mother’s death at the hand of a man, the coyote, Chico, has learned to hate and fear him. Taken into captivity and exhibited in a small desert roadside zoo, he learns much but never loses his bitterness toward his enemy: man. Chico makes his escape and bounds off for a life of adventure in the desert where he mates with Tula. He sees an eagle grab one of his pups and worries when his mate raids a chicken coop. Realizing the dangers of man, Chico decides to take his family deeper into the desert to help his family try to win the battle for survival.

Disneyland '59

Walt Disney and Art Linkletter co-host a live celebration of Disneyland's 1959 expansion that consisted of the debuts of Matterhorn Bobsleds, the Disneyland-Alweg Monorail, and the Submarine Voyage, a project so massive that it was called "The Second Opening of Disneyland". Highlights include a mammoth, star-studded parade and the official launching of the Disneyland submarines by U.S. Navy officers. Among the guests are then-Vice-President Richard Nixon and family, Clint Eastwood, and Meredith Willson, who leads the Disneyland band in his own "76 Trombones." Sponsored by Kodak, the commercial spokespersons include Ozzie and Harriet Nelson.

Disneyland: Mars and Beyond

Directed by renouned animator Ward Kimball, ' Mars and Beyond' is a lighthearted exploration of the history and future of Space Travel as understood back in 1957! Theories from scientists and philosophers are discussed. Focusing on Mars. Ideas from science-fiction authors H.G. Wells and Edgar Rice Burroughs are brought to life with colorful animation. Pulp science fiction comics of the time are parodied. Life on other planets is considered, profiling each of the planets in the solar system from the perspective of what would happen to man on them. A masterpiece of animation and sci-fi that was way ahead of it's time. Ward Kimball was perhaps the most inventive of all Disney animators and probably the only one who admitted to experimenting with psychedelic drugs in the 60's. Also the only animator who Walt Disney ever called a "genius."
