Crazy Jungle Adventure

A sleazy airline owner forces boozy former pilot Butch Donovan to climb into the cockpit by threatening to harm his son in this outlandish German comedy. Unbeknownst to Butch, the plane has been rigged to crash as part of an insurance scam. After miraculously surviving a harrowing landing on a remote jungle island, Butch and the other passengers find a whole new set of dangers awaits, including wild beasties and hired hit men.

Making Out

This is the last of the infamous German "Schoolgirl Report" movies. The story involves a bunch of teenagers and their teacher rehearsing "Romeo and Juliet" and discussing tales of modern love.

Breakthrough

Starting in late May 1944, during the German retreat on the Eastern Front, Captain Stransky (Helmut Griem) orders Sergeant Steiner (Richard Burton) to blow up a railway tunnel to prevent Russian forces from using it. Steiner's platoon fails in its mission by coming up against a Russian tank. Steiner then takes a furlough to Paris just as the Allies launch their invasion of Normandy.

This episodic film is a close relative of Wolf Hartwig's schoolgirl report movies, made by the same people, in a similar style, around similar topics. However, this one specifically focuses on the coming-of-age aspects, to an extent that it also touches on delicate issues such as paedophilia.

Based on the novel by Friedrich Gerstäcker, the film, set entirely in the state of Arkansas, tells of the conflict of interests between the local townspeople and homesteaders on the surrounding land, miners arriving during the gold rush, cowboys and cattle thieves who cause problems in the area, and the native tribes of the region. Two adventurers arrive in town and try to restore peace to it and its inhabitants.

Professor Wilkens has invented a formula for a new type of fuel and puts it on a microfiche that he sends to his daughter and her bodyguard, but multiple different mysterious groups, including the "Chinese Carnation", would kill to get their hands on it.

Hong Kong Hot Harbor

Colette is actually working for Marek, but betrays the gang for love - at the ultimate cost to her. The HK Police will intervene just in time to prevent Peter from further losses.
