This movie is a remake of Pengantin Remadja 1971 original version which is also one of indonesian legendary love story movie such as Badai Pasti Berlalu, Gita Cinta SMA, etc. This Movie tells the love story among two of teenage kids unfortunately restrained by difference in social status of both family which are diplomat and farmer family. Some Scenarios have changed compare to original one which ends tragically. In the original 1971 starring by Widyawati and Sophan Sophian while in this remake Pengantin Remaja 1991 replaced by Vivi Samodro and Bucek Depp. The Musical illustrations are also impressive. Both of original Pengantin Remadja 1971 and this remake 1991 are directed by the same person Wim Umboh and music arranger Idris Sardi.

Suamiku Sayang

Dudi Saleh (Rano Karno) and his wife, Tience (Eva Arnaz), get caught up in a misunderstanding when Tisna Subrata (Rachmat Hidayat) and Ratna (Ayu Lestari) become their new neighbors. Tisna is Dudi’s former professor, while Ratna is a former girlfriend. This misunderstanding is exacerbated by the interference of their Neighborhood Unit Head (Sena A. Utoyo), who is still a bachelor. A similar misunderstanding arises between Firman (Wawan Wanisar) and his wife, Ida (Ully Artha). The presence of sexy Neighborhood Unit secretary, Evita (Yurike Prastica), heats up the situation even more. The confusion is finally cleared up by Ohim (Salim Bungsu), a servant. In the end, the Neighborhood Head ends up married to the woman of his dreams.

Si Kabayan Saba Kota

Kabayan is influenced by a friend to go to the city. In the city, a girl, Saribanon, whose father has been helped by Kabayan when he is robbed, secretly falls in love with him. But he already has Iteung, his girlfriend in the village. The story of that relationship, combined with his adventure in the city, finally ends with Iteung and Kabayan’s marriage.

Midnight Guest

The harmonious marriage of Sulaiman and his wife Ningsih is shattered when the latter falls in love with Kadir and then she demands both he and their daughter Mirna leave the house so she can move her lover in. But then Kadir, a playboy, has an affair with Suryani, a widow who has a daughter of her own named Lisa. The affair is found out when Ningsih catches them in the act and a fight leads to a murder. The Independence Pioneers

The arrest of Haji Jalaluddin during his sermon leaves a strong impression on the hearts of Hamid and Halimah, his followers. Halimah is a wife who is taken for granted by her husband who is pro-Dutch. Hamid is the son of a rich merchant who falls into poverty after being branded as a rebel. His mother takes him to Padang to be raised by the family of Haji Jakfar, who has a daughter, Zainab. Hamid then studies at Padang Panjang and meets old friends, Fakhrudin and Zainudin. Hamid and Fakhrudin have more similar views with their teacher, while Zainudin is more radical. The latter organises a rebellion and fails. The Dutch keeps arresting people. Hamid, disappointed by Zainab’s marriage to someone else, sails to Mecca. Halimah is left to organise the fight for freedom but in the end, is also captured by the Dutch. The film’s message is that a physical fight for freedom, without being based on religious morality, will become meaningless.

Yeah, Right...

Rafiq, this film even features a lead actor who looks like Rhoma Irama, and the character also uses a similar name. Herry Irama has always wanted to be a singer. He is fired because he is considered undisciplined. His hard luck worsens when his father kicks him out of the house. Then his first effort to apply for a job in a recording company is rejected and he ends up being a gardener in the house of a famous dangdut singer, Diana Yusuf. His dream is starting to come true when Diana Yusuf starts to fall in love with Herry.

Tells the story of two women with different characters who love the same man. Widuri, does not dare to express her love while Irawati is more aggressive. While Toby was threatened to marry Irawati because Irawati was pregnant due to her promiscuity and because she lent Irawati's father's company money to her friend but could not return it. Cinta Rahasia

Harun is a successful and busy surgeon who has no time for his family. One day he meets a desperate woman who wants to commit suicide. He takes her into a house and she becomes pregnant. Then Rama finds Shinta as a singer in a nightclub. Without Lestari’s knowledge, they consummate their love. Then Rama accuses Shinta of adultery and refuses to acknowledge the baby as theirs.

Cinta

Sarah is a lounge singer who works to support her husband, Paul Lasut, a gambler. In an intersection, her car nearly runs into the car of David Panggabean, the director of a bank. The event leads to them falling in love. Lasut is shot and dies on the gambling table. Sarah thinks that Lasut dies because of the money that David gave him. Sarah avoids David, who still persistently visits her place of work. David also has problems with his work, due to his assistant. All the problems are finally resolved when David and Sarah are married.

Mama

Legendary directors Wim Umboh and Sjumandjaja, decided to experiment by producing a script being written at the same time of the shooting. Mama is a complex story with two seemingly unrelated narrative threads. The first story revolves around Sanca and Anani. The second is about Ulli and Pandji, and in between the two stories is a third narrative, about Ulla, a religious prostitute and Ulli’s sister, and Suwaka.

Mas Tok, son of a rich family, is studying in Holland when he meets Inge, a staff of Nitou travel agency. They marry but cannot have a child due to Mas Tok’s illness. When they return to Indonesia, his parents disapprove of his marriage as they intended him to marry another girl. Mas Tok then returns to Europe to treat his illness. Mas Tok meets Inge again under a snow fall, much like when they first meet, only this time his parents are there to witness.

There was also a story about a young man with long hair, so his name was only known as Si Gondrong (Farouk Afero), who was also good at martial arts. He was a Kwitang hero. Dan Bunga-bunga Berguguran

Two sisters, Hanifah and Latifah/Ipah have different attitudes toward life in Jakarta. While Hanifah is content working as a teacher, Ipah, who works as a shopkeeper, is obsessed with living a high life. She leaves her boyfriend, Adi, feeling that her sister’s way of thinking is too conservative, and changes her name to Eva. Eva then becomes a runway model and gets famous. She has an affair with an older man named Abas, gets pregnant, has an abortion and becomes a high class prostitute. Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend, Adi, has an affair with Lily, Abas’ wife. One day, she meets again with Adi who is looking for a prostitute for his friend. Offended, Eva stabs Adi. She is then sentenced to 18 years in prison. Her father and her sister, Hanifah, come to the court and give her a mukena (a kind of hijab used by female Muslims for praying) before she goes to prison.

Cheque AA

Ahmad and Nuri work in the same bank in Jakarta. Ahmad loves Nuri, but Nuri has set her heart on Yanto from Bandung. Unfortunately, Yanto is attracted to Lila, while Lila is interested in Darso, the brother of Nuri. This five-sided love story becomes more colourful when Lila’s father’s cheque disappears. Then the bank sends Ahmad to investigate the case.
