She wrote the screenplays for Lasse Hallström's first American film, Once Around, Steven Spielberg's Hook, Daisy von Scherler Mayer's Madeline and co-adapted (with David Koepp) Michael Crichton's novel Jurassic Park into Stephen Spielberg's Jurassic Park.
