The Heart and Sweetheart

A story, warm and full of humor, about Maszenka, an 11-year-old girl from an orphanage in the Bieszczady Mountains who loves ballet. The first stage on her road to fulfilling her dream is the entrance exam to the ballet school in Gdansk. To make it there in time, she escapes from the orphanage, taking newly hired educator Kordula with her. They travel all the way across Poland, hiding from the police and meeting people who help them in need.

Night of St. Nicholas

Two prison cellmates get a one-day leave out of jail to dress up as Santa Claus and an angel and give presents to children from an orphanage. But the presents don't seem to be for kids.

A Bachelor's Life Abroad

The action is set in the early 20th century. The film is made up of six sequences. In the first, Michal, young man who came from Poland to Germany, enrolls in a course on how to behave in social situations and on etiquette. However when he tries to approach girls using the rules which he's been taught... he only makes a fool of himself. Then, he goes to work for a man who owns a carousel and who loves to chase other women. In the next sequence, Michal meets the divorced landlady, Mrs. Luther, and goes through a whole lot of erotic experiences. When he escapes exhausted from his landlady, he starts working in a mine and visits brothels on a regular basis. He looks on women in a totally cynical manner. However, his persistent wandering must finally result in a true love.

Bal na dworcu w Koluszkach

Podczas "zimy stulecia" na dworcu w Koluszkach zniecierpliwieni pasażerowie oczekują na przybycie pociągu. Łączność kolejowa zostaje zerwana. W tym samym czasie niedaleko Koluszek w zaspach śnieżnych utknął pociąg. W jego wagonach panuje wesoła atmosfera. Niektórzy pasażerowie, którym śpieszy się na połączenie z innymi stacjami, wysiadają i idą piechotą do dworca w Koluszkach. Jest wśród nich Andrzej Roszak - młody chłopak śpieszący do Warszawy, oraz prawdopodobnie jego rówieśnica Basia. Niedługo po nich do dworca w Koluszkach docierają pan Walerek - działacz polityczny, który jechał na bal do KC; pan Rozbicki z żoną, tuż po kontrakcie w Iraku; Matyjak - gwiazdor telewizyjny; dziennikarz Przoniak oraz inni. Na wyludnionym dworcu pasażerowie sprawnie organizują sylwestrową zabawę. Podczas wspólnej hulanki jej uczestnicy stopniowo obnażają ukryte kompleksy, frustracje i nadzieje.
